57% in Mumbai have Covid - only 0.05% death rate

The politicians are just making it up as they go.

I think we should all go back to work as usual -
(People who could work from home should do that.)
except
that social distancing and masks should be the law - that's all.

Let's have none of these lockdowns which concentrate
people at supermarkets at busy times
to make the problem worse.

On the other hand-
maybe those people in Mumbai have high immunity to germs because
they live in such appalling conditions?

Maybe we in the West die more easily because
we live in ultra clean environments so we built up no immunity?

But the authors noted that a high proportion of the cases were likely asymptomatic and said there was a low rate of death among those who were infected -- perhaps as low as 0.05%.
