Today will be remembered for perhaps the most mind-blowing athletics performance since Usain Bolt dramatically lowered the 100m world record.
Norway’s 400m hurdler Karsten Warholm took an “impossible” chunk off his own world mark to win gold and stun the world.
Tonight it’s the Aussie men’s turn in the spotlight as the Kookaburras take on Germany in a semifinal at 8pm and the Boomers play Argentina in a quarterfinal at 10pm.
