People are being cancelled, losing their jobs, being silenced and being shot for saying “all lives matter”, Sky News host Rowan Dean says.

“Increasingly we live in a kind of lefty through the looking glass topsy turvy world where common sense, reason and logic are twisted beyond recognition,” Mr Dean said.

“It's the wacko logic that claims that to say, "all lives matter”, the most fundamental and inarguable statement about humanity, is somehow evil and racist."

This comes after a woman, Jessica Whitaker, was shot dead for saying “all lives matter” in the US to a group of Black Lives Matter supporters.

“The incident received scant media attention and the press only deigned to cover it after alleging that one of her friends had used the n-word, as if this justified her being murdered.

“So do black lives, or indeed any lives, really matter to the neo-Marxist racists of the post-modern Left?," Mr Dean said.

“And I say to all those woke corporations and teachers, weak-kneed politicians and sportspeople, dropping down on one knee as if in prayer or submission to an ideology filled with hatred for our democratic way of life, self-indulgent parents and others clamoring to mouth the platitudes of the black lives matter movement and teaching our children to do the same, be warned, you fools are playing footsies with a diabolical and deadly foe.”

The Black Lives Matter movement is 'underpinned by lawlessness'

NSW One Nation leader Mark Latham says “lawlessness underpins" the Black Lives Matter movement.

Mr Latham said the protest in Sydney on Tuesday, which occurred despite being ruled illegal by the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Court of Appeal, demonstrates the anarchic nature of the movement. 

“It’s a form of anarchy when you get what was their fourth protest here in Sydney, … ruled illegal by two courts,” Mr Latham told Sky News.

Mr Latham added that the argument of BLM protesters in Australia is a “fraud” because they mistakenly believe the David Dungay Jr case is the Australian equivalent of George Floyd. 

“It’s no such thing,” he said.

“Anyone who’s read the independent coroner’s report will see the coroner was very, very sympathetic but couldn’t find any adverse comments about the prison officers involved in that tragic incident.

“These are people who don’t accept the findings of a coronal report, they don’t accept the findings of two court decisions, they don’t accept the instructions of the police today, they don’t accept the health orders in the health emergency.”

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson says the protesters expected to attend the Black Lives Matter protests around the country at the weekend are "bloody losers" who have no idea what they’re protesting over.

“Black Lives Matter is an organisation that’s out there to shut down what families are all about, to push their own political agenda, it’s got nothing to do with what they believe they’re protesting over,” Ms Hansen said. 

“You have to put a stop to this bloody rubbish especially as COVID-19 is going on and they think they can just do whatever they want to do.

“They’re a bunch of ratbags as far as I’m concerned.”

Death is always a tragedy. In fact, it would be hard to think of anything worse that could befall us.

Sadly, around the world, 150,000 people die each day and each and every one of these deaths is a terrible thing.
 
Yet one recent death has galvanised the world more than all these other tragic passings combined. The death of George Floyd has been a catalyst for riots, looting, arson, and even murder.

It has inspired debate and soul searching at the highest levels of both Government and the corporate world.

The press has covered the subject from every conceivable angle. Murals have been painted, statues have been toppled and the United States even ceded territory over the issue.

So, what was so tragic about George Floyd’s death that has caused so much anguish, soul searching and destruction?

George wasn’t an exceptionally talented person that we know of. He didn’t contribute any extraordinary benefit to humanity or affect the world positively in any monumental fashion.

In fact, his most newsworthy exploit was to commit an armed robbery on a pregnant Black woman, during which, he pointed a gun at her stomach and demanded money and/or drugs.

We are told that he was getting his life back together, though at the time of his death he was high on Fentanyl and Methamphetamine and was being arrested under suspicion of passing counterfeit money.

Clearly, the steps he had made on the road to recovery were baby ones.

The role of the police was obviously a factor, of course.

We expect the police to catch criminals without killing them and whilst mistakes can, and do, happen, the level of callousness and unprofessionalism of Derek Chauvin and his associates was appalling.

A Black Lives Matter protest in Sydney has been busted up by police before it even began, with organiser Paddy Gibson being escorted into State Parliament by Greens MP Jenny Leong after he was arrested and fined.
Organisers of today’s BLM protest in the Domain vowed “the struggle for justice will continue”, after around 50 protesters were confronted by as many as 400 police. Six people were arrested – five of them were issued $1000 fines, while a 25-year-old woman copped a Criminal Infringement Notice for offensive language.
“As we said all along, we are not anti-the right to protest,” NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Mick Willing told reporters. “This is about public safety. At the end of the day, we are in the middle of a pandemic. The Supreme Court judge himself described the current situation in NSW as being on a knife’s edge.”
The rally was declared illegal after organisers yesterday lost an appeal against a court ruling on Sunday banning the gathering. One protester tore up his fine in front of reporters, vowing to take is “all the way to the Supreme Court”. “Well, best of luck to you at court,” Mr Willing said.
