A SECOND BLM protester gets the VIRUS - how many more will there be ?

Virus second wave fears likely as authorities identify new symptoms to watch for
By Natalie Oliveri • Journalist 8:08am Jun 16, 2020

There are fears Australia could be struck down by a second coronavirus wave after a second Black Lives Matter protester tested positive to COVID-19.
Health authorities have also added a lack of taste and smell to the list of coronavirus symptoms as they make a fresh appeal for people to come forward for testing.

There was "still the potential" for more cases to emerge from the protests in Melbourne on June 6.

"The incubation period generally is between five to seven days, but we do know it can stretch out as far as 10-14," Chief nursing and midwifery officer Alison McMillan told Today.

"We're really keen to encourage anyone who went to those protests if they have any symptoms at all, please stay home and get tested."
Lack of taste and smell have been newly identified as symptoms to look for, she said.

What is this Black Lives Matter stuff ?

Black Lives Matter
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Black March to nowhere Capture

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an international human rights movement, originating from within the African-American community, which campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people.

BLM regularly holds protests speaking out against police brutality and police killings of black people, and broader issues such as racial profiling, and racial inequality in the United States criminal justice system.[1]

In 2013, the movement began with the use of the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter on social media after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of African-American teen Trayvon Martin in February 2012.

The movement became nationally recognized for street demonstrations following the 2014 deaths of two African Americans: Michael Brown—resulting in protests and unrest in Ferguson, a city near St. Louis—and Eric Garner in New York City.[2][3]

Since the Ferguson protests, participants in the movement have demonstrated against the deaths of numerous other African Americans by police actions and/or while in police custody.

In the summer of 2015, Black Lives Matter activists became involved in the 2016 United States presidential election.[4] The originators of the hashtag and call to action, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi, expanded their project into a national network of over 30 local chapters between 2014 and 2016.[5]

The overall Black Lives Matter movement, however, is a decentralized network and has no formal hierarchy.[6]

The movement returned to national headlines and gained further international attention during the global George Floyd protests in 2020 following Floyd's death by police in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Isn't it hilarious when one of the protesters gets the VIRUS.

It will be even more hilarious if the infected protester infected some of the Aboriginals at the march.

‘Our fears confirmed’ as Black Lives Matter protester contracts COVID-19
11/06/2020

Sky News host Chris Smith says today “all our worst fears” were confirmed following the confirmation a person who attended Victoria's Black Lives Matter protest has since contracted COVID-19.

Second wave fears have been fanned after Victoria's chief health officer revealed one of the state's eight new cases of COVID-19 attended a Black Lives Matter protest at the weekend.

Professor Brett Sutton said it was "unlikely" the virus was "acquired from the protest" but authorities were going through the process of contact tracing and asking anyone with more than 15 minutes of contact with the individual to self-isolate.

Mr Smith said the organisers again want to drag protesters “and possibly the virus” out again this Friday night.

He said the “opportunity to unite black and white, is in the process of being lost again”.

Black Lives Matter protests 'completely unacceptable', Scott Morrison says in call for demonstrators to be charged

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has demanded an end to further Black Lives Matter protests, saying some protests have been hijacked by left-wing movements and demonstrators at future events should be charged.
Mr Morrison has previously urged Australians not to attend the mass protests against Indigenous incarceration rates and deaths in custody, citing the risk of COVID-19.
Today he ramped up his rhetoric, saying developments overseas, where protesters have torn down statues of historical figures deemed responsible for atrocities such as slavery and genocide, showed the Black Lives Matter movement had been "taken over by much more politically driven left-wing agendas".
"We've got to be honest about our history, we've also got to respect our history as well," he said.
"This is not a licence for people to go nuts on this stuff."
He accused protesters of setting back efforts to lift coronavirus restrictions.

Quote :
"Certainly any further action on this front would be absolutely unacceptable," he said.

"The double standards that [protesters] allowed themselves to perpetrate by turning up has offended, rightly I think, Australians right across the country.
"The way that it was done and the suggestion that they might do it again risks public support for even the issue they raise."

Mrs PallaChook living dangerously.

And what the ordinary bloke reckons

David Anderson
I think she will feel the true fury of the mob come next election. Those that have lost their businesses, life savings and jobs will not forget her.

Sandra Kay
I used to believe that women in politics could be a good thing but to my amazement it turns out to clearly be untrue. That does not mean that men are perfect because there are those that also should NEVER be given too much power, it is very hard to tell what either sex will actually be like as a leader until we find out their true worth once they are elected, that is why our voting system needs to be altered because two party preferred preference system is soooooo corrupt and keeps those that are not worthy regaining their positions time & time again. We are NEVER going to be rid of any of these useless twat's until we completely change the way we hire our SO CALLED leaders.! Not to mention that we are ALL being conned by our establishment big time by the existence of a bloody virus that i feel is nothing more than the flu. Statistics do not lie until they are in the hands of those that will use them for their own evil agenda.

Tony Johnson
Waiting to see how many indigenous people will be allowed at the funerals for 4 teenagers tragically killed through an unlawful act by their 14 years old “friend”.
The Qld premier has prior form on one rule for them, one rule for others.

Jacquie Lane
Can't stand her and her government but Qld isn't the only state with their borders closed but it's the only one that you hear about constantly.

Janice Clothier
She is truly enjoying the "power" of this lockdown. The woman is a joke.
