The policy in NSW has changed. We will have to accept that we'll never get to zero cases again.

| 356 cases in NSW today - the highest ever.
Unvaccinated people must be worried having no vax to protect them?
Don't they know it's a bio weapon with gain of function - Fauci technology?
The media hasn't told them that yet.

| It's a disaster.https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-08-06/nsw-records-291-new-covid-19-cases/100355100 NSW records 291 new COVID-19 casesPosted 19m ago 19 minutes ago , updated 7m ago NSW recorded 291 new locally acquired COVID-19 infections in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday — the highest daily number in the state during the pandemic. There were 109,547 tests carried out in the reporting period. A woman in her 60s, who was not vaccinated, died after contracting the virus at Liverpool Hospital. She is the state's 79th COVID-19 fatality since the beginning of the pandemic and the 22nd death linked to the latest Delta outbreak. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said she was expecting case numbers to increase in the coming days."I am expecting higher case numbers in the few days and they just wanted want to be prepared for that," she said. The Premier flagged rising cases in the Canterbury-Bankstown local government area, where policing will now be increased. "We are seeing too many people frequent certain shopping areas and perhaps not doing the right thing, so police will be more present in the Canterbury-Bankstown local area to ensure compliance and we have to make sure that happens," she said More to come. | |

Key points: A COVID-19 case has been detected in Goulburn which is 200 kilometres from Sydney From tomorrow anyone from Greater Sydney working in the regions must get tested weekly Anyone from Fairfield who has to work in other local government areas must be tested every three days There were 89 new locally acquired infections detected in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday and 21 of those have been active in the community. While today's total number was less than the 112 recorded yesterday, Premier Gladys Berejiklian warned, "one day is not a trend". "In the next few days we want to see those numbers go in the same direction," she said. She said she hoped to make an announcement about the future of the lockdown "today or Thursday". "We will, as a government, take the health experts' advice on what we announce as the next stage of the lockdown beyond Friday," she said. The Premier's key message was still around protecting loved ones, as more than three quarters of the new cases were family members of positive cases.

| https://www.sbs.com.au/news/nsw-records-112-new-local-coronavirus-cases-with-at-least-34-people-infectious-in-the-community NSW records 112 new local coronavirus cases with at least 34 people infectious in the communityNSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says cases remain concentrated in the local government areas of Fairfield, Canterbury Bankstown and Liverpool in southwest Sydney. Updated Updated Just now By Caroline Riches Share New South Wales has recorded 112 new local COVID-19 cases with at least 34 in the community while infectious. The state also recorded four overseas acquired cases on Monday, from more than 46,000 tests. There are 63 COVID-19 patients currently in hospital, with 18 people in intensive care and four on ventilators. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said “the vast majority" of new cases were family members or "very, very close contacts” of known cases. “I want to stress again, as we did yesterday, if you put yourself at risk, you're putting your entire family, and that means extended family, as well as your closest friends and associates, at risk,” she told reporters on Monday. The premier said the number of people infectious in the community needed to be “as close to zero as possible” before the lockdown, which has now entered its third week, can end. The outbreak remain concentrated in the local government areas of Fairfield, Canterbury Bankstown and Liverpool. NSW Health late on Sunday advised of multiple new exposure sites in Fairfield and Fairfield Heights, including a number of medical centres and pharmacies. A Kogarah fish shop is also in the spotlight. People who have visited any of the sites are being told to get tested and self-isolate. | |

| https://www.infowars.com/posts/australians-furious-with-graphic-govt-covid-ad-telling-people-to-get-jabbed/ Australians have condemned a government commercial which shows a young woman in hospital desperately trying to breathe as a warning to get vaccinated, with many pointing out that those in her age group cannot yet book a jab.The graphic ad, which is set to run in Sydney – the largest city in Australia, and the one hit hardest by Covid – shows the woman panting with tears in her eyes as she is hooked up to a respirator in hospital. “Covid-19 can affect anyone. Stay home. Get tested. Book your vaccination,” the ad concludes. Many Australians were quick to criticize what they deemed to be an inappropriate government ad, given Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s failure to secure enough Covid-19 vaccines for the entire population, and recent coronavirus blunders. “Completely offensive to run an ad like this when Australians in this age group are still waiting for their bloody vaccinations,” protested 10 News First’s National Affairs Editor Hugh Riminton, while Guardian Australia’s Associate News Editor Josephine Tovey called the ad an “insult.” | |

| Gladys is hysterical:https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-07-11/nsw-records-77-new-covid19-case/100284316 NSW records 77 new COVID-19 cases, one death with 33 in community while infectious Posted 23m ago 23 minutes ago , updated 3m ago NSW recorded 77 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday and one fatality. Thirty-three of the cases have been out in the community while infectious. NSW Health confirmed a woman in her 90s from south west Sydney died yesterday at Liverpool Hospital. It is the first COVID death in NSW since December 2020. She was a close contact of a locally acquired case and was tested for COVID-19 on Friday, returning a positive result early yesterday morning. "Regrettably, that person did acquire it within the household, within the home setting. I can't stress enough that every time we risk breaking the rules or even just going about our business and not getting tested when we need to, the people whose lives and health that we're risking the most are those closest to us," Premier Gladys Berejiklian said. Chief health officer Kerry Chant said she believed the woman was not vaccinated. The Premier said she expected a marked increase in the numbers in the next 24 hours. "I'm anticipating the numbers in New South Wales will be greater than 100 tomorrow. Now, that's what I'm anticipating. "And I'll be shocked if it's less than 100 this time tomorrow, of additional new cases." She again implored the community to follow the rules. She also highlighted a new risk from essential workers, such as tradies, who visited multiple sites. Of the new locally acquired cases, 55 were linked to a known case or cluster — 39 household contacts and 16 close contacts — and the source of infection for 22 cases remained under investigation. Dr Chant reiterated the Premier's warning about staying home. "Please stay at home and that means staying within the one household. Do not leave that household setting and do not interact with other family members." Currently, 52 COVID-19 cases are in hospital, with 15 people in intensive care, five of whom require ventilation. More than 48,000 tests were taken during the reporting period. More to come. | |

| 50 cases today - a new record in NSW.
Not enough people have the vax - we'll get new lockdowns in Melbourne because it will come here too. I'm fed up with lockdowns - I've been through over 160 days of lockdowns one was 112 days long. I've had one shot of AZ - that will give me 70% effectiveness against dying from the killer delta Indian strain.

Restrictions for greater Sydney residents have been tightened, including limiting outdoor exercise to two people within 10 kilometres of the home. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has promised Pfizer vaccine shipments will be brought forward within weeks, although the company said the overall number of doses it will provide this year has not increased. NSW Police deny they are discriminating by deploying more officers to patrol south-western Sydney as the virus spreads there. Some people worry the show of force will put the community offside.
