We definitely don't need darkies from Africa, or the ME.  Boosting the population with more welfare recipients would be stupid.

How about these types?

I did say the ME - those types in that picture. :D  Oh, we don't need the Chinese either. Laughing

The Chinese are OK.
Most of the surgeons in hospitals are Chinese.
They are clean, intelligent, hard working people that put a lot of Aussie bogans to shame.

I have no idea what will happen about our economy but guess the "help" distributed by Morrison and Co was to help people during the CoVid crisis. Why the $750 when nothing was open, who knows?

The splash of money was not intended as a permanent thing and I wonder whether those on the dole have been putting a bit away for a "rainy day" and whether they will whine and moan when they go back to their normal dole handout. Guess we will have to wait and see.

The CoVid will be around for a long time yet, I imagine but we can't continue handing out "money" to all and sundry for the duration.

Ah well.

I suppose the Govt. will bring in nice people to boost our GDP?

Our Reserve Bank is doing some sort of digital funny money printing.
I don't understand it.
I bet it will devalue or savings?
Look at the Wiemar Republic in Germany in the 1930s
and Zimbabwe more recently -
they printed money until you
needed a wheelbarrow of cash to buy a loaf of bread.

When Tony Abbott came to power the Federal Govt. debt was $200 billion.
He declared that a budget emergency.
Recently it was near $800 billion under the Libbos -
and then we borrowed
$230 billion more due to the Coronavirus.
Therefore it's now well over $1 trillion.

The Australian debt clock is not showing that latest Covid-19 additional debt:

https://australiandebtclock.com.au/

It shows National Govt. debt as only $786 billion.

However our total Aussie debt is $7.3 trillion.

How on earth did we get into such a terrible situation?
We've been living beyond our means since the GFC of 2008.
Labor or Liberal? -
just 2 parts of our one party communist state.
Social security and public servants are paid for out of borrowed money.

When a politician tries to get elected and says they
will spend this much money on something -
it's code for -
"I will borrow more money to pay for this
and put Australia into even greater debt"
