| An enquiry as requested by ScoMo:
The Chinese scientists at those labs plus their families need to be removed to a safe location in a neutral country so they can be questioned. Obviously they wouldn't tell the truth if they were in China - they and their families would be murdered.

| Never mind what the federal or state governments in the US are doing,,,they have no control in the end.
It looks like the decision has been made by someone to just release the virus, let it take its toll and the country back to work.
That someone could be big business, or the elite billionairs or perhaps just the average Joes

I sent this back: ........................................................................................ Australia’s population densityAs of 2019, Australia has an estimated population of 25.09 million. According to the latest UN data, Australia has a population density of 3.22 people/sq km. This puts Australia at 228 th in the world in terms of population density, sitting between Iceland and Namibia. Population density by cityThe most populated city in Australia is Sydney, with a recorded population of 5.48 million and a density of 407 people/sq km. The least populated city in Australia is Darwin, with a population of 148,564 and a density of 703 people/sq km. Despite a population of 2.48 million, Brisbane only has a density of 145 people/sq km. Australia’s population density by state and territoryAmong the states and territories, the Australian Capital Territory has the highest population density at 171 people/sq km, followed by Victoria (27), NSW (9.7) and Tasmania (7.6). | By the numbers: Coronavirus hits Australians in mid-life
More than half of coronavirus cases in Australia are among people aged 25 to 54, data shows.
So far, the disease has shown up in people in midlife, with fewer numbers among younger and older age groups. People aged 25 to 54 make up 53 per cent of cases.
People aged 70 plus make up 10 per cent of cases, and people aged under 25 make up 11 per cent.
Just six cases have been recorded in children under 10.

| Coronavirus theory.
How do we know that a strong herd immunity hasn't already built up in China by now? It's possible that 90% of people who got the virus didn't have any symptoms at all and their bodies built up immunity and they were never tested. In which case there are millions of people out there who are not carriers and have 100% immunity to it. If that's the case then the virus is stopped in its tracks and hardly anyone needs to fear it anymore.

| James Kwan identified as first Australian to die from coronavirus virus
The first person to die from the coronavirus in Australia has been named as James Kwan, a retired travel agent from Perth. Mr Kwan, 78, was diagnosed with the virus after going on the infected Diamond Princess cruise ship. He died in the early hours of Sunday morning at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. A friend told The Australian Mr Kwan was very devoted to his family. They described the situation as “really tragic”. WA Premier Mark McGowan said Mr Kwan spent his final moments alone because he was quarantined. “It would have been awful, they couldn’t go in and touch him or hold his hand, it would have been so tragically sad,” Mr McGown said about Mr Kwan’s family. “You don’t want to leave this world without someone holding your hand.” Western Australia’s chief health officer Andrew Robertson Mr Kwan’s wife was also in quarantine. Dr Robertson said she had a chance to talk to him before he died. His family spoke to him by phone or through glass on Saturday night. “She had the opportunity to talk to him prior to his death, but she’s understandably quite upset. And I obviously ask that people respect their privacy,” Dr Robertson said. “He was identified very early on, when he was on the flight back from the Diamond Princess, he was put in isolation, he was transferred to us, and obviously placed in isolation on arrival. “He’s been managed in isolation ever since. There’s no risk to the general community or to staff. “He was in a negative pressure room and then in intensive care and they were very confident that the protection equipment they were using was more than adequate.” He had been taken from a Darwin quarantine camp with his wife, who is also infected, after being isolated in a quarantine camp there from Japan. The couple were two of 164 Australians who were quarantined aboard the Diamond Princess with coronavirus then flown from Japan to Darwin and placed in isolation at the Howards Springs camp. Mr Kwan’s wife Theresa is now in isolation at a Perth hospital.

| Victoria confirms ninth coronavirus case
A woman in her 30s is Victoria's ninth confirmed coronavirus case. The state's Department of Health and Human Services confirmed on Sunday the woman landed in Melbourne from Iran. The Victorian woman travelled from Tehran via Kuala Lumpur and Bali, arriving in Australia around 6am on Friday. She started feeling unwell while travelling to Melbourne, and authorities are following-up with fellow plane travellers. The health department said the woman travelled by private car directly home, which eliminates the risk of further public exposure sites. She was admitted to hospital on Saturday and put in isolation, then confirmed positive for the COVID-19 virus on Sunday. Another person who was in contact with the woman will be tested for the virus and has been forced to self-isolate at home for 14 days. This new case comes as the federal government defends its decision to ban foreign visitors entering Australia from Iran to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, rather than South Korea which has a much higher level of cases. Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton on Sunday said that of the 106 deaths that have been reported outside of China, 43 have been in Iran. A 63-year-old Gold Coast beautician who returned to Australia from Iran on Monday, has also been diagnosed with the virus. Seven previously confirmed cases in Victoria have recovered and are no longer in isolation. The eighth, case a man in his 70s who was aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship quarantined in Japan, was on Sunday transferred to Melbourne from quarantine near Darwin.

| Sixth virus case in NSW after Iran travel
A woman in her 50s returning from Iran is New South Wales' sixth confirmed coronavirus case.
NSW Health has confirmed on Sunday a woman that landed in Sydney last Sunday has tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 virus. The woman flew back to Australia via Qatar, developing symptoms a day after landing. Authorities have urged any traveller aboard Qatar Airways Flight QR 908 that landed in Sydney on February 23 to remain alert and self-isolate. People who have been in contact with the woman are also being identified and monitored. Earlier on Sunday a fifth person in NSW was confirmed as having the virus, a man in his 40s who also arrived in Sydney from Iran. NSW chief heath officer Kerry Chant said the cases were not linked and they were not on the same flight, with the man arriving from Iran on a different day. The male in his 40s arrived on February 22 and did not develop symptoms of COVID-19 until two days later. He was tested on February 28 and was confirmed to have COVID-19 on Saturday, NSW Health said in a statement on Sunday. The man has relatively minor symptoms and has been taken to Westmead Hospital. The state's four previous cases have all been discharged from hospital. Dr Chant said another man in his 50s was also under investigation for possible COVID-19 based on his preliminary lab results. "Travellers from Iran should be particularly vigilant for symptoms as there has been a rapid increase in COVID-19 activity there in recent days," Dr Chant said in a statement. Another woman who recently returned from Iran, a 63-year-old, is being treated at the Gold Coast University Hospital after being confirmed as having the disease. The federal government on Saturday advised Australians against travelling to Iran. Under the new restrictions, Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate family who've travelled to Iran will be required to self-isolate at home for 14 days from the day they left the country. Foreign nationals who are in Iran will be banned from entering Australia for 14 days, from the time they have left or transited through.

Coronavirus: New Queensland case has no links to China
As many as 40 people may have been exposed to coronavirus after an infected woman worked at a Gold Coast shopping centre.
The first coronavirus case in Australia with no links to China has been confirmed, with as many as 40 people now at risk of exposure to the virus after the infected woman worked at a Gold Coast shopping centre.
The 63-year-old woman is currently in isolation at the Gold Coast University Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. She is in a stable condition.
Chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young said the woman had recently returned from Iran, where there are more than 388 confirmed cases and coronavirus is rapidly spreading.
Speaking to reporters at lunchtime Dr Young said the woman, who worked as a beautician on the Gold Coast, had arrived in Australia from Iran “perfectly well” on Monday.
She had shown no signs of illness on the flight or first days back in the country until Thursday when she began showing “minimal symptoms” of coronavirus.
The beautician began to feel unwell at work that and spoke to her manager before leaving to seek medical help.

| Coronavirus panic buying frenzy hits supermarkets
Coronavirus panic buying is sweeping through supermarkets and stores in Australia, New Zealand and the USA with shoppers emptying shelves of food, toilet paper, bottled water and hand sanitiser. Posts on Twitter record stockpiling by panicked locals in North Sydney, the Perth suburb of Claremont, Auckland, New York, San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Essential foodstuffs like bread, flour and rice, as well as canned beans and tomatoes, pasta, pasta sauce and water have flown off the shelves as both the COVID-19 pandemic and fears about it spread. A Sydney North Shore supermarket said rice, flour and toilet paper were the “first to go” and “we can’t keep up with” supplies of the goods. In one New Zealand supermarket, every type of bread was stripped from the shelves except gluten free options. US reports showed completely bare shelves and refrigerated sections in Costco shops where “water, toilet paper, rice, meat … all are disappearing fast”.

| In the event of an outbreak of the deadly coronavirus, the government has revealed some of the serious steps that would be taken.
In the event of an outbreak of coronavirus in Australia, major public events that draw large crowds would be cancelled while schools and workplaces in affected areas would close. The government announced today it has activated its emergency response plan for global pandemics, as the COVID-19 disease continues to spread further through Asia and Europe. At a press conference in Canberra this afternoon, Health Minister Greg Hunt said Australia was well-prepared – but not immune to the increasing risk of an outbreak. “What we’ve done, as you would hope that a government would do, is prepare for all eventualities, but so far in Australia, we have contained the virus on official medical advice,” Mr Hunt said. “But this plan is about saying, ‘we’re not immune but we are as well-prepared anyone else in the world’.” The plan outlines how authorities should react in the event of an outbreak in Australia, in a manner that Mr Hunt described as “rings of containment”.
Infected individuals and their families or affected groups would be contained in a bid to slow the impact, he said. Depending on the severity of an outbreak and an infected individual’s movements, that could see the closure of schools and workplaces. And in a scenario where rates of infection spike in major cities, large-scale events like AFL matches could be cancelled. “The possibility of (cancelling) events is always there, but that is a last resort,” Mr Hunt said. Japan and Korea have cancelled all upcoming major sporting events as health authorities battle to slow the rates of spread.

| Coronavirus outbreak in the United States now inevitable, health official warns
Stock markets around the world are tumbling as coronoavirus continues to spread in Asia — along with the Middle East and Europe.
The Dow Jones has plunged more than 3 per cent after a top health official warned a coronavirus outbreak in the United States was inevitable. More than $2.5 trillion (US$1.7 trillion) has been wiped off US stock markets in the past two days alone, CNBC reports. Nancy Messonnier of the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention warned an outbreak would result in a “disruption to everyday life”. RELATED: Experts warn of virus’ invisible spread RELATED: 1000 locked down as virus hits resort “We expect we will see community spread in this country,” she said. “It’s not so much a question of if this will happen any more, but the rather more correct question to be asking is, ‘When this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illness? “We will maintain, for as long as practical, a dual approach [in which] we continue measures to contain this disease but also employ strategies to minimise the impact on our communities. “The data over the last week in the spread in other countries has certainly raised our level of concern and raised our level of expectation that we are going to have community spread here.” The Dow Jones plunged 900 points on the remarks from the CDC. The ASX today followed suit, sliding 1.9 per cent in early trade. It's the third day of straight losses for Australian stocks. More than $190 billion was wiped off the UK’s FTSE over growing fears of a pandemic. Japan’s Nikkei has lost 3.3 per cent while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng edged 0.2 per cent slightly higher. “We are finally starting to see the markets react to the coronavirus,” Nicole Tanenbaum, chief investment strategist at Chequers Financial Management, told the Washington Post. The White House on Monday sent lawmakers an urgent US$2.5 billion plan to address the deadly coronavirus outbreak, whose rapid spread and threat to the global economy rocked financial markets. The White House budget office said the funds are for vaccines, treatment and protective equipment. The request was immediately slammed by Democrats as insufficient. US Senator Richard Blumenthal warned the country was inadequately prepared to deal with the virus.
